Moderate Tornado Warning In Kansas City Missouri! Peter and I just moved out here to Kansas City Missouri to work for the summer. It is beautiful, green, and lush with a little hint of southern style! Just my place to be! The first day out here I decided I wanted to move here permanently... or at least somewhere like it. I love the houses with their adorable wood siding and painted shutters.
The people here are so genuine too! I don't think I can think of one person around our neighborhood that we saw outside that didn't come and introduce themselves... Along with their dog! Yes I repeat, everyone and their dog, has a dog! Cooper has many new friends. The mini chihuaha next door, Jade the big Rodizian mastiff mix, the golden retriever he always barks at in the back yard, and Yoshi the Yorkie just to name a few.
Oh, as for the tornado watch... there was a "slight risk" this morning on the news and I guess it just moved to "moderate risk." I don't think we're in any danger though. I've been a really good girl and can't be wiped out just yet! Too many missionary opportunities out here!
Overall I love it here. The hours are long and straining but I'm feeling more and more confident in my job each day. What an exciting adventure we have before us!

I can't believe you are in tornado country. Oh I am not ever going to bed with out praying for the safety of all my people in Kansas!
Have you changed your mind yet? HaHa =) I love the south too! I'm glad your getting to know the southern folks AND their dogs! Can't wait to see what Kansas is all about.
